Product Care, Shipping, Returns, and Policies

Thank you for your interest in Lisa Archer Silks. All of my designs are unique. My silks are painted using the best French dyes and are steam-set so that colors will be vibrant and permanent. Because all of my silk items are individually created, colors and patterns will vary naturally from one piece to another.

Cleaning Your Silk Item

Each item can be hand-washed using a mild soap in cold water and rinsed in cold water. Do not wring the material; let it drip-dry and lightly iron using steam. Items can also be dry-cleaned (not recommended).

Turnaround Time

There is a two-to-three week turnaround time on all accessory items.

Wedding Items

All of my wedding items are custom made. Therefore, I will need a three-month turnaround time. Please contact me to discuss arrangements.

Custom Orders

Customized orders are welcomed. I would be happy to discuss any ideas you may have for your special silk items.


If the silk item is a gift, I can ship directly to the recipient with a gift card in your name. Please include the correct address of the recipient at checkout or send me a message with your special instructions. I will never put an invoice in the recipient’s gift.


Lisa Archer Silks accepts payments through PayPal using major credit cards.


Shipping is calculated per item to US and APO/FPO addresses and shipped via Priority Mail.
Shipping for custom orders is calculated individually, based on destination and weight of item.
International purchases and shipments must be called in so that special shipping arrangements can be made.

Your silk item will be shipped within five-to-seven business days if it is in stock. I will contact you after you make a purchase to let you know when you can expect your silk item to be shipped.

Shipping, both domestic and international, is by USPS Priority Mail or First Class/Air Mail. I can also send by expedited mail. Please be aware that I am not responsible for any local customs clearance fees. Customs policies vary from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information.

Refunds and Exchanges

Please contact me with requests for refunds or exchanges.

Items should be returned within thirty days of receipt in their original condition. Customers pay the shipping costs for any returned items. The refund will be issued immediately upon receipt.

Please note I am not responsible for any local customs, duties, taxes, or fees on items outside the territory of the US and I cannot refund shipping fees for returned silk items.

If an item is purchased as a gift for a third person, please note that no information about the transaction will be revealed to the recipient. I will not refund money to the recipient and will not exchange the gift item for another item. Finally, there are no refunds on custom-made items that are personalized for recipients.
